Job Description for Business Development Manager:
 
Our client is a well established (over 30 years) local business offering sustainable services into the education and corporate sectors in the south of England. They are looking to hire a Business Development Manager.
 
They have some high profile clients and it’s an exciting time to join them as they are in a period of growth and expanding their Sales team.
 
The Business Development Manager Role:
·The position is to research, identify and close new business sales and be responsible for the full sales cycle.
·You will be office based in Reading with the opportunity to go out and visit potential clients in the south of England to close larger sales.
·Your role will be to manage and grow the accounts you bring on board.
·Hours of work 8.00am – 4.30pm Mon – Fri
 
Experience & Skills for this role:
·Experience of a new business, product sales / business development role.
·Experience of the office furniture industry would be an added advantage.
·Candidates will need a clean driving licence and their own vehicle.
·Good at building solid business relationships.
·A hunter mentality with a desire to succeed.
·Consideration will be given to candidates in a B2C product sales role wishing to progress their career to a B2B / B2E position.
